BoraMedic is a telehealth service designed exclusively for adults with full legal capacity, as required by the regulations of the user’s country. BoraMedic will ask users to confirm they are of legal age before proceeding with the management of their information. In cases where specific services are provided for minors, the involvement of a parent or legal guardian will be required for proper authorization and process management.

At BoraMedic, we have a fully trained medical team ready to provide you with the best medical care. At BoraMedic you can have two types of services:

  • Free services: First orientation and online medical appointment scheduling at no cost:

First, contact us through chat, where you will find a series of options so you can choose the one that best suits your needs. Then, provide your personal information through the form that you will find within the chat and send it to schedule a consultation. Afterwards, we will notify you when you will have your advice through one of our live channels. Finally, depending on the diagnosis you obtain in your consultation, you will be assigned an appropriate specialist for your case.

  • Services with cost. When does the medical service have a cost?

Although at BoraMedic, we offer you a free general medicine advisory service, where we will guide you regarding your health case. If you require it, we will refer you to the specialty you want (urology, oncological urology, bioregulatory medicine, nutrition, neuroscience, pediatrics, sexual health, complementary therapies, etc.).   • Unless otherwise indicated on the Website, all prices for specialized medical consultations listed on the Website or otherwise published by BoraMedic, include taxes that, if applicable, are legally established. If the service to be provided includes any type of tax or levy, it will be duly indicated in advance of payment.

2.1. Medical advice: free. This process has no cost to the patient. Here, the medical advisor will guide you regarding your health; and if necessary, you will be referred to a specialist.

  • The contents of the Website have been compiled with the greatest possible care. However, BoraMedic cannot guarantee that all information provided on the Website will be accurate and complete at all times. Therefore, all prices and other information provided on the Website and in other BoraMedic communication materials are subject to reservations of obvious programming, writing or spelling errors.
  • Purchase process:

4.1. The purchasing process is carried out automatically. We have a payment link, which redirects to the payment platform, which guides you through each necessary step and connects with the bank’s virtual POS to manage card payments. Once we receive notification of your purchase and verify the payment through the payment gateway, we will send you an email with the confirmation of your purchase and the corresponding invoice.

4.2. Available Payment Method: The only payment method available is through a secure payment gateway. The conditions under which this online payment processing platform operates are determined by the service provider, exempting BoraMedic from any liability in this area.

We are not currently accepting any type of health insurance for online specialist consultations. This is because, by offering an immediate response service, we cannot meet the authorization deadlines that insurers require. However, after the consultation, you will receive an invoice that you can use to request reimbursement from your insurer.

Remember that our initial medical advice (initial orientation) is free. If you are looking for more in-depth guidance from a specialist, we suggest you schedule a medical appointment through the chat on our website. There, we will redirect you to the process where we offer you different payment methods completely online.

From the BoraMedic payment gateway we accept all digital payment methods. We do not accept cash payments.

Yes, it is completely possible to receive your appointment online via cell phone. Our online appointment system is designed to be mobile-friendly, allowing you to easily access your appointment from the convenience of your cell phone.

If your call during the virtual appointment is interrupted due to internet failures, we will contact you again. Remember that at the beginning of your call we will ask you for your personal information.

To ensure an efficient teleconsultation, it is essential that the patient or their companion provide complete details about their case, medical history and any relevant reports. Having all the necessary information about the patient or his companion facilitates the diagnosis process during the teleconsultation, allowing the specialist to carry out a more precise evaluation and offer appropriate recommendations.

As it is a service provided online, payment is made in advance and the service is provided based on what is requested. Therefore, if the care service has been provided, there is no possibility of withdrawal or return of any amount. Only in the case in which technical circumstances prevent the patient from being treated, BORAMEDIC would proceed to give the option of providing a new consultation under the same terms as those contracted, on the date agreed upon by the patient. Withdrawal is only possible in those very specific cases in which the provision of a care service has been scheduled and there are more than 24 hours left until it is carried out. See section “Cases where it is allowed to reschedule the appointment”. There, the user can comment on their situation and reschedule their appointment by emailing info@boramedic.com

Cases where it is allowed to reschedule the appointment

Technical failure or inconsistencies in the telemedicine portal: if the consultation cannot be carried out due to technical problems, such as failures or problems with the telemedicine platform, the medical appointment will be rescheduled.

Unjustified absence of the doctor: if the doctor does not show up for the scheduled consultation without a justified reason and without prior notice, within 24 hours, available time will be sought between both parties to reschedule the medical appointment.

If the following situation occurs, send us an email to info@boramedic.com, detailing your case and we will look for a solution. From BoraMedic, we will have up to 15 days for your refund to be made effective, through the agreed payment method.

Cases where the possibility of a refund will be validated

Collection errors: if after confirming that an incorrect payment was made or more than what was agreed was charged, the respective additional value will be refunded.

Persistence in the unjustified absence of the doctor: if the doctor does not show up for the scheduled consultation without a justified reason and without prior notice, within 24 hours, available time will be sought between both parties to reschedule the medical appointment. If this persists, the case will be studied to validate a possible refund for the value of the appointment, in the next 15 days.

In the event that a physical examination is required to complement the evaluation, you will be referred to an in-person consultation in which the steps to follow will be indicated. In this way, we guarantee that you will receive the most complete and appropriate medical care for your situation.

By paying for the virtual medical consultation service, you have the right to receive care from a competent specialist properly trained to provide you with quality virtual care. Additionally, you have the right to receive appropriate monitoring, appropriate formulation as necessary, and interpretation of your medical examinations. Likewise, you will have the right to receive an updated copy of your clinical history, which will be signed by the specialist and will be sent via email for your personal file. In this way, we guarantee that you receive a complete and transparent service for your medical care.

Boramedic has the best specialists in each area in order to provide the best service. If you wish to consult the same doctor who previously treated you in an in-person consultation, we will provide you with the necessary information about the location of the specialist. If this specialist is available in your city, you will have the option of scheduling an in-person appointment with him to continue your medical care. If in-person assistance with said doctor is not possible, we will recommend a peer specialist doctor, guaranteeing continuous and personalized care.

For prior cancellations, the deadline is 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. If the patient has not canceled at least 24 hours in advance, and does not show up 10 minutes after the established time, the appointment will be canceled without the right to a refund.
